Over 300 guests came to the The Omni King Edward Hotel on March 31st to witness an enlightening exchange on pursuing justice between Irwin Cotler and former journalist Indira Naidoo-Harris, MPP, Halton. Colter urged the Canadian government to take action on unresolved justice issues such as Indigenous Rights and international prisoners of conscience. Cotler also called on PM Trudeau to restore public consultation in supreme court appointments.

The event was also a fundraiser for the Pearson Centre’s “Pursuing Justice” Project, which aims to improve Canadians’ understanding of justice, diversity and inclusion through public discussions and research.
